Privacy Policy

    This policy explains what personal data Patrony collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  

1. Who we are

Patrony is a craft companion app currently in development. For the purposes of this policy, the data controller is the founder of Patrony, based in France. You can contact us at any time at hello@patrony.app.

2. What data we collect

We currently collect only the following personal data:

Email address — when you sign up for the Patrony waitlist
Consent record — the date and time you agreed to receive updates

We do not collect your name, location, payment information, or any other personal data at this stage.

3. Why we collect it

We collect your email address for one purpose only: to send you updates about the launch of Patrony and to invite you to test the product when it is ready. The legal basis for this processing is your explicit consent, given when you ticked the checkbox on our waitlist form.

4. How we store it

Your email address is stored securely in a Supabase database hosted on servers located in the European Union. Supabase is GDPR-compliant and acts as a data processor on our behalf. We have a Data Processing Agreement in place with Supabase.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We will keep your email address for as long as you remain on the Patrony waitlist, or until you ask us to delete it. If Patrony does not launch within 2 years of you signing up, we will delete all waitlist data.

6. Your rights under GDPR

As a person whose data we hold, you have the following rights:

Right to access — you can ask us what data we hold about you
Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data
Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data at any time
Right to withdraw consent — you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by emailing us directly
Right to lodge a complaint — you can complain to the CNIL (France) at cnil.fr or to the ICO (UK) at ico.org.uk

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@patrony.app. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Our landing page does not use cookies or any tracking technologies. We do not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool at this stage.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make any significant changes to this policy, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
